NORAD AND CHENEY
DICK CHENEY AND NORAD
Dick Cheney was in command of NORAD on 9/11. Cheney recalls taking charge from the bunker. Norman Mineta testified “Of course the orders still stand, have you heard anything to the contrary?” Cheney said from the PEOC bunker. Cheney admits that he “Gave the order to shoot down Flight 93″. NORAD failed to intercept any of the four flights in nearly an hour and a half. Several ‘War Game’ exercises were taking place as 9/11 was unfolding. Research ‘NORAD Drills’, Webster Tarpley, Norman Mineta Mark Dayton “NORAD lied”.
CHENEY IN COMMAND OF NORAD
Cheney recalls taking charge from bunker
“WASHINGTON (CNN) — As horrified Americans watched the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, unfold on their television sets, Vice President Dick Cheney directed the U.S. government’s response from an emergency bunker.”
“After the planes struck the twin towers, a third took a chunk out of the Pentagon. Cheney then heard a report that a plane over Pennsylvania was heading for Washington. A military assistant asked Cheney twice for authority to shoot it down.
“The vice president said yes again,” remembered Josh Bolton, deputy White House chief of staff. “And the aide then asked a third time. He said, ‘Just confirming, sir, authority to engage?’ And the vice president — his voice got a little annoyed then — said, ‘I said yes.'”
It was a rare flash of anger from a man who knew he was setting the tone at a White House in crisis.”

9/11: When Did Cheney Authorize the Shoot-down of Civilian Planes?
“The 9/11 Commission claimed that Cheney did not issue a shoot-down authorization until 10:10 or later, whereas the evidence shows that Cheney gave the authorization by 9:50 – hence at least 20 minutes earlier than the Commission claimed. This 20-minute difference means the difference between whether military pilots could, or could not, have been ordered to shoot down United Flight 93 (which reportedly crashed at 10:03).”
ADMITS “SHOOT DOWN ORDERS” FLIGHT 93
Cheney admits he gave the order to shoot down Flight 93
“Wallace: You were the one who gave the direct order to shoot down a plane that you were told, as it turns out incorrectly, was heading for Washington.
Cheney: Right. That’s correct.
Cheney:….we had already seen 3 go into, the Pentagon and World Trade Centers in New York.”
NOTES: In this clip, Cheney admits he gave the ORDER to shoot down Flight 93. This is not proof that Flight 93 was shot down…. this is proof that Cheney was in charge of NORAD. Cause only someone in charge could give such an order.

Vice comes clean: He was the real president, and he stands by all of his mistakes
“I gave the instructions that we’d authorize our pilots to take it out,” he says, referring to the jet headed to Washington that crashed in a Pennsylvania field. He adds: “After I’d given the order, it was pretty quiet. Everybody had heard it, and it was obviously a significant moment.
When they testified together before the 9/11 Commission, W. and Mr. Cheney kept up a pretense that in a previous call, the president had authorized the vice president to give a shoot-down order if needed. But the commission found “no documentary evidence for this call.”
WHO WAS REALLY IN CHARGE?
“The two airliners had already crashed into the Twin Towers, another into the Pentagon. Combat air patrols were aloft, and a military aide was asking for shoot-down authority, telling Cheney that a fourth plane was “80 miles out” from Washington. Cheney didn’t flinch, the report said. “In about the time it takes a batter to decide to swing,” he gave the order to shoot it down, telling others the president had “signed off on the concept” during a brief phone chat. When the plane was 60 miles out, Cheney was again informed and again he ordered: take it out.”
“The issue was moot anyway: by the time Cheney issued his shoot-down order, between 10:10 and 10:15 a.m., United Flight 93, the last plane-turned-missile on 9/11, had already crashed in Pennsylvania (at 10:03 a.m.) after its passengers had made their heroic stand. The White House team just didn’t know it. And many of the scrambled fighters didn’t even have weapons onboard.”
Military officials ignored Cheney’s 9/11 shoot-down order
NORMAN MINETA “STAND DOWN”
“During the time that the airplane was coming into the Pentagon, there was a young man who would come in and say to the Vice President…the plane is 50 miles out…the plane is 30 miles out….and when it got down to the plane is 10 miles out, the young man also said to the vice president “do the orders still stand?” And the Vice President turned and whipped his neck around and said “Of course the orders still stand, have you heard anything to the contrary!?” ~ Norman Mineta Testimony to the 9/11 Commission.
Norman Mineta testimony
WHO WAS THE YOUNG MAN/AIDE?
In Norman Mineta’s testimony he refers to a “young man” was in the PEOC with Cheney informing the VP that “the plane is 50 miles out”. Still to this day, we don’t know exactly who this young man was but there are a few people that it could have been.
”Of course the order still stands” Cheney tells his Naval Aide Douglas Cochrane as the unauthorized aircraft, tracked and targeted by military radar, is allowed to come in to strike the Pentagon, NORAD on “stand down”, not a single defensive missile launched or even shot fired to defend the building – “The Air National Guard and Air Force air defense units of the United States were prohibited from carrying out their standard intercept procedures as detailed above on the morning of 911; after they had received the alerts from ATC and FAA..These orders came from the executive office of the president”.
“Do the orders still stand?” Who was he?

In a presentation at IONA College, Darling elaborates a bit and says the plane was an E4B command center. He says around the 14:00 minute mark that it was an E4B, probably from Andrews, that made a left turn instead of right and came over P-56.
24 Hours Inside the President’s Bunker – Lt. Col. Robert Darling
“Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel Robert Darling (Retired), is an Iona alumnus of 1987, and author of the book, 24 Hours Inside the President’s Bunker. In his book, Darling recounts what it was like firsthand responding to the terrorist attacks. He explains his important role as liaison between the vice president, national security advisor and the Pentagon and the supportive role he played when Vice President Richard Cheney ordered two fighter jets to shoot down United Flight 93. The book follows Darling as he witnessed Vice President Richard Cheney, National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice, and others make decisions at a lightning pace with little or no deliberation.”

WHEN DID CHENEY ARRIVE TO THE PEOC?
The Mineta case
Tim Russert, Dick Cheney, and 9/11
By David Ray Griffin
“According to Clarke, shortly after the meeting that Cheney had with Condoleezza Rice after the second attack on World Trade Center, which occurred at 9:03, the Secret Service wanted Rice as well as Cheney to go down to the PEOC. Rice, however, first went with Clarke to the White House’s Video Teleconferencing Center, where Clarke was to set up a video conference. This conference, Clarke’s statements suggest, began at about 9:10.13 After spending a few minutes there, Rice said, according to Clarke: “You’re going to need some decisions quickly. I’m going to the PEOC to be with the Vice President. Tell us what you need.” Clarke replied: “What I need is an open line to Cheney and you.”14 Some minutes later, evidently at about 9:15, Norman Mineta arrived and Clarke, after receiving him in the Situation Room, “suggested he join the Vice President.”15 Clarke thereby seemed to imply that Cheney was in the PEOC prior to 9:15.”
“In an ABC News program narrated by Peter Jennings on the first anniversary of 9/11, Condoleezza Rice is portrayed as supporting the early descent time. After describing Cheney’s trip down to the PEOC with the Secret Service agents, ABC’s Charles Gibson said: “Up above, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice is trying to find the rest of the President’s team,” after which Rice is shown saying: “As I was trying to find all of the principals, the Secret Service came in and said, ‘You have to leave now for the bunker. The Vice President’s already there. There may be a plane headed for the White House.’” Gibson then added: “In the bunker, the Vice President is joined by Rice and Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta.”16 ABC agreed in advance, therefore, with Mineta’s account, according to which Cheney was down there before he arrived.”
NOTES: This timeline for Cheney’s arrival contradicts the 9/11 Commission reports testimony.
Cheney recalls taking charge from bunker
“It was a clear day, there were no weather problems, and then we saw the second airplane hit in real time,” Cheney told CNN’s John King in an interview in the vice president’s office.
“At that moment, you knew this was a deliberate act. This was a terrorist act.”
He called President Bush in Florida and spoke with top aides. Then his door burst open. My [Secret Service] agent all of a sudden materialized right beside me and said, ‘Sir, we have to leave now.’ He grabbed me and propelled me out of my office, down the hall, and into the underground shelter in the White House,” Cheney said.
In White House terminology, it is the PEOC, short for the Presidential Emergency Operations Center.”
America’s Chaotic Road to War
“Secret Service agents burst into Cheney’s West Wing office. “Sir,” one said, “we have to leave immediately.” Radar showed an airplane barreling toward the White House.
Before Cheney could respond, the agents grabbed the vice president under his arms — nearly lifting him off the ground — and propelled him down the steps into the White House basement and through a long tunnel that led to the underground bunker……
In the tunnel below the White House, Cheney stopped to watch a television showing the smoke billowing out of the World Trade Center towers, heard the report about the plane hitting the Pentagon and called Bush again. Other Secret Service agents hustled Rice and several other senior White House officials included in an emergency contingency plan into the bunker with the vice president.”

@3:33 “Then someone came in and said Mr Vice President, there’s been an explosion at the Pentagon.”
Therefore we know that Cheney was at the PEOC before the plane hit the Pentagon. Something the 9/11 Commission and Cheney have covered up for the last 14 years.
Dick Cheney on 9/11: ‘We were living in the fog of war’
“Special Agent Jimmy Scott burst through the door. “Mr. Vice President, we’ve got to leave now.” Before I could reply he moved behind my desk, put one hand on my belt and another on my shoulder, and propelled me out of my office. He rushed me through narrow West Wing hallways and down a stairway toward the “PEOC,” the Presidential Emergency Operations Center, located underneath the White House.”
(9:52 a.m.) September 11, 2001: Lynne Cheney Joins Husband in White House Bunker
Lynne Cheney’s notes:
NOTES: We know that Cheney, Rice, Lynne Cheney, Norm Mineta, Richard Clarke, Douglas Cochrane were in the PEOC
Richard Clarke corroborates Mineta’s testimony that Cheney and Rice were in the PEOC by 9:10 a.m. Reporter Barton Gellman said ” Shortly After 9:03 a.m. Four or five Secret Service agents carrying submachine guns entered Cheney’s office.
NEW PHOTOS OF CHENEY AT WH AND PEOC
Never-before-seen photos released of Bush administration during 9/11
“Photos show members of the Bush administration talking in the President’s Emergency Operations Center beneath the White House, Cheney watching the attacks from a TV in his office, and Cheney heading to Camp David on Marine Two with his wife, Lynne.”
NOTES: If Cheney himself says that Secret Service arrived shortly after the second impact (@9:03am) and they took him down to the Bunker….. then it would be impossible for Cheney to be puting his foot up on his desk at 9:34 while watching the TV from his office. These photos were recently released to make Cheney appear to have arrived at PEOC much later than he actually did. We don’t even know for sure when these photos were taken, by whom and why they have remained “secret” for 14 years.
